Hamillroad Software Wins Award for Innovation at 2018 Label Awards

CAMBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM – Hamillroad Software, experts in prepress software for the printing and graphic arts industry, today announced that The Label Awards has awarded Hamillroad the 2018 Award for Innovation (for companies with up to 300 employees).
The Award for Innovation recognizes Bellissima Digitally Modulated Screening (DMS), Hamillroad’s screening technology for flexographic printing, as a ground-breaking innovation, set to transform and disrupt the flexo printing industry.
Developed by Andy Cave, Hamillroad CEO and creator of the Harlequin RIP, Bellissima DMS delivers high-quality flexo prints, equivalent to 350-450 lpi. The award-winning Bellissima DMS delivers unrivalled image reproduction and boasts no color shifts on misregistration. By using fixed palette inks, the screening delivers smooth flat tints and moiré free prints with no visible rosettes. Vignettes fade smoothly to nothing enabled by printed highlight dots as low as 1.0% and shadow dots up to 99.5%.
